'PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is a last-man-standing shooter being developed with community feedback.

We don't have to wait that long to try out the brand new map desert map Miramar though, because it's just gone live on PUBG's test server. PC players have had quite a bit of time with the game through Steam's Early Access program, but come December 12, those on Xbox One will finally be able to start experiencing the fun for themselves. We wanted to go the opposite direction of having lush fields and forests and arrived at the harsh and unforgiving desert of what we can now reveal is Miramar. Due to the lack of grassy cover, the new location will require players to switch up their play-styles if they want to earn their Chicken Dinners this time around. The map will also feature unique vehicles like an off-road pickup truck. The abandoned factory town of Chumacera looks to be an interesting location to visit, and the oceanside Valle del Mar (Valley of the Sea) will play an important role, connecting a prison island to the map's mainland.

Studio heads at PUBG Corp. strolled into the third hour of The Game Awards 2017 to relish in the success of a title that has sold 24 million units since March earlier this year. In line with this, they also revealed a short cinematic PUBG trailer for the Xbox One X version.
