With that said, the final win-loss result seems secondary on the heels of an injury sustained by Phoenix's offensive centerpiece, Devin Booker, in the final minutes of the contest.

Suns star Devin Booker was carried off the court late in Tuesday's game with the Raptors with a strained left abductor muscle.

Booker suffered the injury on Tuesday night's defeat against the Toronto Raptors. Booker froze in place near midcourt, and trainers came out to examine him before two teammates awkwardly carried him off the floor. With Booker out until further notice, the Suns will have to attempt to find a way to compete. Being hailed as one of the most promising young guards of today, Book could cement himself as an All-Star as soon as this February.

Now in his third season, Booker's production will definitely be missed and will impact Phoenix.

He is averaging 24.3 points, 4.1 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game this season, which would all be career-high totals. "I think Josh has played pretty well lately, especially on the defensive end of the floor".
