Aired first on United States national TV during NBC's Thursday Night Football game at 8:55pm ET (1:55am UK time), it popped up in YouTube just a few minutes later.
According to EW magazine, Fallen Kingdom is set several years after the collapse of the dinosaur park in Jurassic World, when an erupting volcano threatens to wipe out the prehistoric critters now roaming wild on the island. Now they're threatened by a volcanic eruption, and Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard from the first film are trying to save them, whether or not that's a good idea.
So, what, are you dating like an accountant now.??
After a full week of building hype for the trailer, Universal finally released it, and well, dinosaurs are back! The latest addition to the monster franchise, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, just debuted its first trailer today. Yes, it's been 20 years, does that make you feel like a dinosaur? Trevorrow, who helmed "Jurassic World", wrote the script for the sequel with Derek Connolly. The editing's wonky, it doesn't build a lot of interest in the characters themselves, and Doctor Ian Malcolm seems to be protesting against rescuing dinosaurs.
Entertainment Weekly has the scoop on the plot for Fallen Kingdom. She reaches out to Owen Grady to let him know this is happening. And if you've seen any of the previous Jurassic films, it's a no-brainer. "It's complicated. When you see them at the beginning of this story, you get caught up as to what's going on, but it's not what you would necessarily expect".
The trailer is also expected to play before Disney's Star Wars: The Last Jedi when it's released in theaters next month, alongside the recent trailer for Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.
