Arsenal legend believes this player would be a good signing for Tottenham

Today, Liverpool are linked with Danny Rose...

The only question is whether Rose will join Manchester United in January or next summer.

The United boss is confident of signing the player in what is rumoured to be a £50 million deal.

The 27-year-old reacted badly to being substituted during Tottenham's Champions League win over APOEL last night with Rose seen storming straight down the tunnel after he was replaced by Kyle Walker-Peters in the 70th minute.

The Englishman provoked speculation surrounding a potential move away over the summer after criticising his current club's lack of ambition whilst voicing a desire to play up north at some point in his career. The 27 year old England global looks to be on his way out of the London club, and it is believed that a fee of around £50m will be enough to lure him back to the north of England, where he was born and grew up.

It is rumoured that the England worldwide was close to a move to Old Trafford in the summer, but his knee injury was the dealbreaker to such aspiration.

The Fulham youngster is also even-money to make the white half of North London his next destination, making Tottenham clear favourites for his signature.

Rose ended up staying after issuing a public apology but the defender has struggled to force his way back in to Mauricio Pochettino's starting eleven since returning from a knee injury with Ben Davies the preferred option on the left.

Whilst Sessegnon does seem likely to join Spurs, this was also said last summer before the England starlet signed a new deal at Fulham.
