On Monday the Colorado Rockies announced their 31-game 2018 Cactus League schedule.
The Rangers will open Cactus League play at the Chicago Cubs on February 23.
While it might be a stretch to say spring training is right around the corner, it's never too early to start thinking about it.
With the 2018 regular season getting an earlier-than-usual start on March, the spring training schedule has been moved up to accommodate.
Washington and Houston will play each other seven times during the Grapefruit League slate with the Nationals hosting on March 6, March 15, March 21, and March 23, while the Astros will serve as the home team on February 23, March 3, and March 10. The 2018 Cactus League season will be the club's eighth year at the shared Spring Training facility with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land near Scottsdale. The Cubs will also head to Las Vegas on March 17 & 18 to play games.
The Nationals' 2018 spring schedule will conclude back in D.C. on March 27 when Washington welcomes the Minnesota Twins to Nationals Park for an exhibition game before heading out to Cincinnati for Opening Day 2018.
The first of which will be worn during Spring Training and features a cool play on the Centennial State's flag.
Friday, March 23 - at Cleveland, Goodyear, 6:05 p.m. Oakland A's at Mesa, 1 p.m.
The March 12 game against Kansas City, which shares the Surprise, Ariz., complex with the Rangers, is the annual charity game for the Surprise Sundancers organization.

Thur., March 22 - vs. Angels, 7 p.m.
