A 15-year-old boy wanted as a "person of interest" regarding the death of a Florida woman was seen in Pennsylvania Thursday, according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
According to Action News Jacksonville, the teen's father, Eric Mott, returned from vacation to find his home ransacked and all his guns all missing from the safe.
Officials say Mott is "considered armed and dangerous" and is likely driving the auto the pair was last seen in - a 2015 silver Dodge Dart with Florida tag DLL T42. He and his grandmother were reported missing Tuesday after the teen failed to show up to Sandalwood High School Monday or Tuesday, and French never showed up for work Monday or Tuesday.
Mott is believed to be armed and risky. She also said Logan and his grandmother were supposed to pick his father and his girlfriend up from the airport but they did not do so.
Anyone who sees Mott is asked to call 911. The missing persons case is believed to be related to the large police presence, including crime scene units, in Neptune Beach, near Jacksonville. If you see a Florida tag in the Northeast, pay attention. Officials are waiting for an autopsy to positively identify the body, but they believe it is French.
It is the same home where police have been investigating the disappearance of teen Logan Mott and French, his grandmother.
