Like Ashok Kumar, Ajith was harassed by Anbu Chezhiyan: director Suseenthiran

An official of Valasaravakkam Police Station said Ashok Kumar, a native of Madurai, committed suicide by hanging himself in his apartment at Arcot Road in Alwarthirunagar. The letter also states that he regrets the association he has had with this financier for seven years who charged him high rates of interests.

Director Ameer, an associate of Sasikumar blamed Anbucheziyan for he death of Ashok Kumar. As Sasikumar was busy with the movie, Ashok Kumar was handling the issue. Financier Anbu Chezhian (who is allegedly set to have driven Ashok Kumar to commit suicide) should be punished severely, only then Ashok Kumar's soul will rest in peace. The only big sin we committed is taking a loan from Anbu Chezhiyan.

The website also quoted director Ameer blaming Anbucheziyanfor the death of Ashok Kumar. "He was paying interest and interest for interest". The Valasaravakkam police who registered a case under ipc Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), have launched a hunt for the financier.

According to the Newspaper, According to a complaint filed by actor-director-producer M. Sasikumar, his cousin, Ashok Kumar was residing in Alwarthirunagar and was a a co-producer in his film company.

The Valasaravakkam Police has sent the body to the Government Royapettah Hospital for postmortem.
