The incident has been reported to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Delhi Airport had asked airlines operating from Terminal 1 to shift one-third of their flights to Terminal 2 to enable it to expand the terminal to meet growing passenger numbers. T1 handled 24 million passengers in 2016-17, four million more than its official annual capacity.
The latest incident comes days after IndiGo came under fire and apologised following the surfacing of a video of a passenger being manhandled at the Delhi airport.
According to the airline, the passenger was "injured" and was immediately rushed to the doctor of the AAI and was administered first aid.
