"She goes, 'Listen to me, '" recalled the 6-foot-5, Oklahoma-bred Shelton.
"We are going to do Christmas this year at my house", she told Extra on Tuesday, November 14, explaining that the celebration will begin in the country singer's home state.
The 48-year-old also opened up on life, saying, "I'm on a good run right now, I'm having a lot of fun".

Oklahoma native Shelton spent a decade in country music before his popularity surged in 2011 as the wise-cracking judge and mentor to aspiring singers on NBC's reality singing competition show The Voice.
Ventimiglia said he believes humor, confidence and kindness are key.
As for Hartley, he agreed and deadpanned, "Stubble and forgiveness, that's my mantra".
