As detailed on the game's official website, the first of the new maps - Cape Helles and Achi Baba - will be released on December 11 for Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owners.

There's a host of other Battlefield 1 news coming along with the third expansion's release date. From amphibious battles to the addition of several new weapons, those who have the Premium Pass for Battlefield 1 will be able to access the content first across two new maps on December 11.

The second wave of Turning Tides content will be released, as already mentioned, sometime during January. A new operation taking place across both maps will showcase the 1915 British assault on the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Checkout the teaser above to get a hint as to what will be in store for Battlefield 1 in the coming months. In Turning Tides, you'll find a higher focus on amphibious combat, with maps focusing on marine lands and ship combat. There will also be six new firearms and two melee weapons to add to your arsenal. There's more coming after your December battles - you'll be tackling the North Sea in January.

Next month's content drop will be followed by two more Turning Tides maps, "Zeebrugge" and "Heligoland Blig", which take the battle two the North Sea.

Frontlines Mode is coming to the Suez map on November 27th. Available between 22 November and 4 December, then 8-10 December, the trials will allow players to play through said content. These are in turn inspired by two 1918 events: the battle of Vittorio Veneto and the Meuse-Argonne offensive on the Western Front.
