A Utah girl couldn't contain her excitement when she found out that she was going to be adopted, and her reaction was caught on a security camera.
Jackie Alexander, the school's office manager, is a close friend with the family.
Alexander thought the minute was lovely to the point that she got Fisher's authorization and shared the video via web-based networking media. She wrote "I cry as I type this". She said she was happy to give Tannah the news after there had been several setbacks in the family's case.
Tannah discloses to KUTV that she was so glad the selection was last that she couldn't relinquish Miss Jackie. To tell a little girl that she gets her family forever takes the cake.
"It was just so sweet the way Tannah got so excited", said her soon-to-be adoptive mother, Jennifer Fisher.
"It's the biggest thing that ever happened to me", Tannah said. "I just kissed her up one side and down the other side".
"I just thought oh, my gosh". "She simply held me more tightly and more tightly and I exploited that".
"I grabbed her shoulders and said, have you heard the news baby?"
Tannah was so happy that she wouldn't let go of Miss Jackie. "It was like, 'ah, ' it was like screaming", Tannah said.
"There's a lot of sadness that we see, but you know what?"
"Never, ever, ever give up", she said.
"I was overjoyed and humbled", Alexander told 1010 WINS about being able to tell the family such incredible news.
