Under pressure all night, Carr was 19 of 31 for 118 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. It was a disaster for Carr, who threw two first-half interceptions. Kelley had 12 carries for 78 yards in Washington's win over the Rams last week.

Starting from their own 33-yard line, the Redskins' offense quickly moved into Raiders territory off a 26-yard connection between Kirk Cousins and Vernon Davis.

The defense once again frustrated the Raiders on their second drive, as Washington recorded back-to-back sacks on second and third downs before Oakland had to punt. "For the first time, we have not seen that".

On the second sack, Carr was surprised by the shotgun snap from Rodney Hudson and almost lost it on a fumble.

The only questionable Raiders player was cornerback Sean Smith, who is active.

Washington was without its top tight end, Jordan Reed, inactive with a chest injury.

Chris Thompson: As hard as it was for the Raiders to cover Davis, they had even more trouble with Thompson out of the backfield. He couldn't get anything going with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, leading the Raiders to just seven first downs.

The Raiders went 0 of 11 on third down as part of their anemic offensive effort.
