LeBron James addresses host of topics at media day

"Trump said: Wouldn't you love to see one of these National Football League owners when somebody disrespects our flag to say get that son of a (expletive) off the field right now, out, he's fired, he's fired".

James told reporters he didn't regret calling Trump a "bum" on Twitter after the president announced he would withdraw an invitation to the Golden State Warriors to visit the White House.

Peter Vecsey recently posted a rumor update last week in which he claims "I'm comfortable now in stating unequivocally, LeBron will leave the Cavaliers a second time and join the Lakers, and return the team to L.A. lore status".

"When I woke up and saw what he said about Steph Curry", James said. Or was it me coming back in the first place?

"U bum", James wrote. "So that was amusing to me when I woke up and saw that".

James chided Trump, saying he is trying to divide people and doesn't understand the power of the presidency. James said he found this particularly amusing because Curry was the person who initially said that he didn't want to go to the White House because he was opposed to Trump's actions as president.

"I think it's basically at a point where I'm a little frustrated, man, because this guy that we've put in charge has tried to divide us once again" James said."Obviously we all know what happened with Charlottesville and the divide that caused".

"The people run this country, not one individual. And he has no recollection of that, and he doesn't even care".

LeBron James said while he supports athletes who have expressed their feelings during the national anthem, fans won't see him personally taking a knee. The Cavaliers have a new general manager, now have a possibility of adding Dwyane Wade and, yes, made a seismic trade that shipped James' top sidekick out of town.

"It's not about disrespect for the flag and military and people who served", he said.
