Zinedine Zidane has reportedly agree a new three-year contract to remain in charge of Real Madrid until June 2020.

Liverpool and other top clubs have been linked with Spanish worldwide and Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio this summer. But the contract doesn't mean anything.

"You could sign a contract for 10 or 20 years, but I know where I am and what I have to do", he continued.

Tottenham Hotspur were believed to be circling at the start of 2017, and Isco regularly hinted to the press that he could leave Real Madrid at the end of the 2016-17 season.

Los Blancos have already won a trophy this term, having beaten Manchester United 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup in Skopje on Tuesday, while the Blaugrana will be seeking to retain the Supercopa they won against Sevilla a year ago.

Real Madrid's Gareth Bale attempts to get past Manchester United's Victor Lindelof. With players the size of Marouane Fellaini and Marcus Rashford joining Romelu Lukaku on the pitch, Real Madrid's back four suffered when dealing with high, long balls, especially on the flanks, where Dani Carvajal and Marcelo struggled the most.

By continuing to win as a manager, Zidane has further cemented his place in the club's history. The objectives are always the same: trying to win every single game and every single title. The staff are doing a great job, we do not fail because of the relationship in the dressing room.

Zidane also warned the European champions against a Barcelona backlash at Camp Nou on Sunday.

Barcelona have shown serious interest to lure the Spaniard away from the Bernabeu this summer after losing Brazilian star Neymar to Paris Saint Germain in a world record deal.

Barcelona's summer has centered around the loss of Neymar and the club's attempts in the past fortnight to replace him.
