Early next week we will continue with about a 40 percent to 50 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms each day. Morning temperatures will be on the chilly side in the mid to upper 50s. This flow will allow for partly to mostly sunny skies, low humidity levels, and high temperatures in the middle 80s. However, with dew points remaining high and wet ground conditions coupled with plentiful remaining atmospheric moisture, rain remains in the forecast.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High: Low-mid 80s. A subtropical ridge of high pressure will also strengthen over the area. The warmest will be late in the week, with upper 80s and possibly low 90s in places. Expect more clouds than sun Monday, with showers decreasing through the day. Once again, widespread, soaking rain is not likely, but some passing rain is possible to start Monday. Highs in the 80s statewide. A few showers will linger Friday morning before we dry out in the afternoon. Overnight lows will stay in the low 60s with some clouds here and there.
Bring the umbrella Thursday and Friday.
