Adam Driver teases Kylo Ren's unexpected journey in The Last Jedi

The royals make cameo appearances in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, actor John Boyega confirmed. Boyega seemed to be joking about the scene being taken out, but if we get a scene of Ridley and Del Toro surrounded by Stormtroopers in The Last Jedi, two of them might be British royalty - and Star Wars fans like the rest of us.

The princes visited the Pinewood set in April past year, where they met the cast and crew.

I think they took that scene out.

During an interview on Sunday Today (via The Hollywood Reporter), Adam Driver teased that something big will happen to the villainous Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi, and fans won't see it coming. "Yeah, they were on set".

Prince William who admitted he was a "total geek" over the franchise, was photographed hugging Chewbacca played by Joonas Suotamo and he challenged his brother to a duel with lightsabers.

John Boyega has hinted that Prince William and Prince Hary could possibly have cameos in Star Wars: The Last Jedi - making us even more excited for its release.

Boyega's not sure if their cameo will make it into the final film. I think it was leaked, anyway. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it.

At the time, The Daily Mail quoted a source who claimed that the princes 'filmed a scene in which Rey and Finn infiltrate a secret base. I'm exhausted of dodging it.

According to "The Last Jedi" actor John Boyega, the royal brothers also filmed cameos for the film. They were there, man. Tom Hardy was there too, man. Earlier this year in April, news broke out that William and Harry got will be playing stormtroopers in the film, but since the galactic soldiers wear masks, it would be hard to spot the royals - unless of course, they have some speaking lines.

The precedent was arguably set for this when "James Bond" actor Daniel Craig donned the stormtrooper armor in 2015's "The Force Awakens".

"The Last Jedi" soars its way into theaters December 15.
