Actress Reema Lagoo passes away in Mumbai

Last night she complained of chest pain, and was admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Bombay at 1:00am and unfortunately she passed away today morning at 3:15am due to a cardiac arrest.

Reema Lagoo was an Indian actress who has appeared in Marathi, Hindi films and television shows. Veteran actress Reema Lagoo, who was seen playing the role of Dayavanti Mehta in Naamkaran died of cardiac arrest. Earlier, she was perfectly fine and didn't have any health issues.

The actress was born on February 3 in 1958 and appeared in Marathi, Hindi films and television shows, serving the industry for almost four decades. Out of her Television shows Tu Tu Main Main and Shrimaan Shrimati are two memorable shows. Even she was now seen featured as Dayavanti Mehta in Mahesh Bhatt's television show Naamkaran. Hospital experts said they will issue an announcement later in the wake of counselling Reema Lagoo's family. Her other popular films were Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Kal Ho Naa Ho. Superstars Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan had both played her screen sons. The Sultan actor gave the cutest reaction after meeting her, which might leave you in tears. There will never be a woman like Reema Lagoo.

Mr Bhatt also shared an old picture of the actress and wrote, "We said goodbye to one another over the phone with a promise to meet again". Her most appreciated roles were in renowned Marathi political movie Singhasan, Anumati, Mukta, Bindasta and most-recent Jaaundya na Balasaheb. "May her soul rest in peace", the 'Dangal star added.
