Talk-radio host Alex Jones argues persona in custody dispute

Jones issued a rare apology in late March for his role in furthering the conspiracy theory that Comet Ping Pong, a pizza parlor in Washington, D.C., was the center of a child sex ring frequented by Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and others. For most of the American mainstream, watching Jones push some of his most offensive theories - the idea that the Sandy Hook massacre was a staged "false flag" event, for example - gives the impression that he may not be altogether stable.

Jones is now fighting for child custody with his ex-wife, Kelly. She said she's concerned that by threatening Representative Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, in a recent rant, her ex committed a felony. Is it even possible for Alex Jones to find a jury box full of his peers? Well, his lawyer is now arguing in court that Jones is simply "playing a character" just like "a performance artist". Whether this is an act or he believes any of it, Jones has millions of followers who take him seriously. Ever the empath, Jones said on his show yesterday that Sasha and Malia Obama are not actually Barack Obama's children, the day before his own custody trial was to begin.

Jones promotes the theory that "globalist" forces, including politicians and big business, are out to rob the USA of its sovereignty, and that Trump will save the nation from this conspiracy.

"You reputation is awesome", Trump he said in December 2015. Jones claims Trump called him after the election to thank him.

Both accusations were references to recent tirades from Jones against the celebrities.

Jones is battling his ex-wife, Kelly Jones, for custody of their 14-year-old son and two daughters, aged 12 and 9. Son Rex, the oldest, has appeared reporting "news" on his father's media platforms for almost two years. "I love you so much, and I didn't mean to get you up here, sweetheart, and tell people how much I love you, but you're so handsome, and you're a good little knight who's going to grow up, I know, to be a great fighter against the enemy". His "about" page says he's a "journalist" who is "SEEKING THE TRUTH AND EXPOSING THE SCIENTIFICALLY ENGINEERED LIES OF THE GLOBALISTS AND THEIR ULTIMATE GOAL OF ENSLAVING HUMANITY".

However, if someone is an actor, rather than say a drug dealer, a parent's job isn't necessarily a factor in such cases, according to Orgel.
