Posh Day at Palace: Victoria Beckham Gets Royal Recognition

Earlier this morning, Victoria Beckham's contributions to the British fashion industry were honored at Buckingham Palace. The couple now share four children together: sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12, as well as their daughter, Harper, 5.

It was a posh day at the palace for former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. Brooklyn gushed. "You are the most awesome mum and you are ideal in every way". I love how you make me laugh every day and whatever happens you always seem to be happy.

Her 17-year-long career made its debut at the New York Fashion Week, and since then she has become one of the biggest names in the business.

Since the news broke in the United Kingdom last night, many have taken to Twitter to point out that her fashion label had to be bailed out by her husband in 2014 as it made a loss of $5m AUD - despite a turnover of almost $60m AUD.

An insider revealed to MailOnline: 'Victoria is incredibly proud of the fashion brand she has built and ever thankful for her awesome team'.

The designer is introducing the clothing, including dresses and other garments, to suit women up to a size XXXL, the United Kingdom equivalent of size 24.

The 41-year-old football star was made an OBE in 2003 but is said to have called the honours committee "unappreciative" in a four-letter rant in a 2013 email for failing to make him a Sir.

But she is in line to receive another gold medal at this year's World Championships in London after Russia's Tatyana Chernova was stripped of her 2011 world title for doping.
