(Justin released an incredible remix for Fonsi's song "Despacito" earlier this week). The song broke a record for the most YouTube views this year, racking up 20 million views in the first 24 hours since its premiere.

The track which was first announced on social media just minutes before its official release keeps the original style and rhythm while featuring vocals from Justin.

"Thank you so much".

"You are my sunrise on the darkest day, got me feeling some kind of way/ Make me want to savor every moment slowly (slowly)", he croons in the introductory verse before switching over. After the two singers performed the new song, Selena Gomez's ex thanked the Puerto Rican heartthrob for allowing him to collaborate on the addicting single. "It's incredible!" Bieber said to him after the performance.

The video even surpassed Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" premiere.

"Despacito Remix" is definitely a win for Bieber, especially after he struck out in the Latin pop community after teaming up with J Balvin on the remix of his own No. 1 hit, "Sorry".

While the "Despacito" remix made the biggest YouTube debut of 2017 (and sits on top of the Billboard Latin Songs chart), the original tune isn't doing too shabby either.

As the Inquisitr and a tsunami of media outlets reported yesterday, Justin's bilingual vocals on the "Despacito" remix touched off much praise for the superstar's awesome pronunciation from many, including Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda and Columbian singer José Balvin.
